A Stephen king universe book Now older, world-weary, and physically breaking down, protagonist Jack Sawyer must once again travel between America and the parallel realm of the Territories (linking into King’s Dark Tower mythology). He is forced out of retirement to stop a brutal, murderous gang of infected teenagers—modeled after real-life killers Charles Starkweather and Caril Ann Fugate—who are tearing violent bloody holes between our world and theirs, alongside confronting terrifying dark forces at the edge of Mid-World before all reality is destroyed.
